Pregnancy Regulations
The Commission proposes to amend its existing regulations on pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 7291.2, et seq.) and invites public comments on its proposed amendments. The Commission has considered oral and written comments it received in its initial, 45-day public comment period ending June 2, 2010 and additional written comments it received in a 15-day public comment period ending September 15, 2010 and a second public comment period ending November 5, 2010. The Commission is working to streamline, clarify and make revisions to its pregnancy, disability, and family leave regulations, and work on these regulations as a coordinated rulemaking package.
