Harassment Training Regulations
The Fair Employment and Housing Act authorizes the Commission to promulgate regulations interpreting the FEHA. (Gov. Code section 12935, subd. (a).)
The Commission’s sexual harassment training and education regulations submitted to the Office of Administrative Law have been approved. The regulations became effective on August 17, 2007.
Background:
On July 18, 2007, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Commission’s sexual harassment training and education regulations. The text of the regulations is, with one minor grammatical change to Section 7288.0, subdivision (a)(9)(A)(2), identical to the version adopted by the Commission on April 23, 2007. The only change was to the designation of the subparts of subdivision (a)(9)(A)(2), by “a.” instead of “a)”, etc.
